Trama: Sono passati cinque anni dalla conclusione della guerra terminata con la Battaglia degli Eroi, eppure tutto sembra pronto a ricominciare: villaggi ribelli che sperano nell'indipendenza, profughi in fuga che cercano rifugi precari in regni impoveriti, e minacciosi fantasmi che ritornano. Questa seconda serie ripercorre, anche se in maniera leggermente diversa, le avventure di Parn e dei suoi compagni a partire dalla fine della Battaglia degli Eroi; più precisamente dall'incontro con Sylis e Olson. La storia è divisa in due archi temporali e vede protagonisti due gruppi differenti. Il guerriero Parn, l'elfa Deedlit, il mago Slayn e la sacerdotessa Lelia sono alcuni degli eroi che hanno preso parte all'ultima, rovinosa guerra, in cui il regno di Marmo aveva tentato inutilmente la conquista dell'isola di Lodoss. Ora si ritrovano nuovamente riuniti perchè nuove minacce sembrano profilarsi all'orizzonte: uno dei condottieri sopravvissuti di Marmo, Ashram, sta dando la caccia ai Draghi Antichi rimasti sull'isola per trovare ed impossessarsi dello Scettro del Potere, un potente artefatto che lo aiuterebbe ad impadronirsi di Lodoss.
